How to relocate to bigger market with no money?
Hello, I am in a huge problem, I am in a career filed that is very specfic geographically and need advice.
I am in Central Florida and having a hard time finding jobs in web/UI design/application developement, most of these jobs I have seen are in NYC or San Fran or LA,
Would it be wise to relocate for better opportunities although I realize a lot of jobs are contract.
I get contract offers through email all the time, but they are in some stupid town, like Kansas City or Alabama, why would someone move their for a 6-month contract, and then when its over , you cant find employment. thats why moving to NYC or San Fran woud be better because theyre are contracts after contracts after contracts, but their is also way more competion, but how do I know if I dont try.
Need professional advice on this, I am going insane, I want to move to a big city, but I want it to be the right long-term decision, plus I am not financially secure which is another problem.
HELP
First of all, I live in Kansas City and it’s a great town. If you don’t have a wife and kids then I don’t know what’s stopping you from going where the money is. Save up enough to get out of town, find the job, move.
